From Northern VA/Maryland
- Take I-495/I-95S to I-66W towards Front Royal
- From I-66W take I-81S towards Roanoke
- Take Exit 245/Port Republic Road and take a right at the first light
- Take the immediate right at the next light (Bluestone Drive) onto to the JMU campus
- Continue on Bluestone and take a right at your first light onto Carrier Drive
- Continue through the next three stop signs (Go across the bridge over I-81)
- The Festival Ballrom will be located on your right and parking will be available in Lot R3
From Virginia Beach/Richmond
- Take I-64W to I-295N around Richmond
- Get back on I-64W to I-81N
- Take Exit 245/Port Republic Road and take a right at the first light
